I'm A Hall Of Famer!
CJ's Employer Inducted into the Training Top 10 Hall of FamePosted by CJ
This was an event to remember! As a training professional, I couldn't be more honored to be a part of something so great that few have ever achieved in the world of Training!
McCarthy was recently inducted into Training magazine’s Training Top 10 Hall of Fame. This recognition tops off our placement among the Training Top 125 for five years, with four consecutive years in the top 10. As the sole 2016 inductee, we are the only construction company to achieve this prestigious honor. McCarthy joins just 11 other companies in the Hall of Fame including industry leaders IBM, Verizon, Farmers Insurance, Jiffy Lube and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co.
Presented during the Training 2016 Conference & Expo in Orlando, the Top 125 awards recognize the leading training organizations based on excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs.
“The 2016 Training Top 125 winners set the bar high on employee training and development,” noted Lorri Freifeld, editor-in-chief of Training magazine. “They consistently design and implement effective programs that engage their employees and yield demonstrable business outcomes. These organizations are a testament to the power of strategic training and development. Earning a spot in the Training Top 10 Hall of Fame requires a rock-solid commitment to helping employees grow and a steely determination to provide best-in-class training. For the last four years, McCarthy has done all that and more. The Training Top 10 Hall of Fame will benefit tremendously from the insights and best practices McCarthy can share.”

Training magazine’s Training Top 125 Award has been the premier learning industry awards program for more than 15 years. Winners are the organizations with the most successful learning and development programs in the world. The Training Top 125 ranking is based on myriad benchmarking statistics such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; number of training hours per employee program; goals, evaluation, measurement and workplace surveys; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs. The ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
Thanks go out to my family who have been so supported of my work away from home!
